Lexus has unveiled a refreshed version of its flagship SUV, the LX, which now boasts a series of enhancements, most notably the addition of a hybrid powertrain option, the LX 700h, and a new off-road-oriented Overtrail version. The updates mark a significant step in the Japanese automaker’s efforts to blend luxury with advanced technology and rugged capabilities.
The headline variant of the updated LX range is the introduction of the LX 700h hybrid model. This vehicle is powered by a sophisticated hybrid system that combines a 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine with an electric motor and battery setup.
