The 2025 Ford Taurus Hybrid Arrives in Middle East

Ford Motor Company has debuted its 2025 Ford Taurus Full Hybrid in the UAE. The Taurus Hybrid comes equipped with a 1.5-litre engine and a robust electric motor, pushing its fuel efficiency while maintaining strong driving performance—a hallmark of the Taurus legacy. This integration of hybrid technology marks the first of its kind for Ford’s sedan offerings in the Middle East, as Ford extends its electrified vehicle lineup by 2025.

Performance Meets Efficiency

A standout feature of the Taurus Hybrid is its ability to optimise fuel consumption without sacrificing power. At low speeds, ideal for city driving and congested traffic, the electric motor takes centre stage, reducing reliance on the petrol engine, which switches to support during higher-speed travel. The hybrid system offers a combined output of 138KW, equivalent to a healthy 185 HP, which ensures the Taurus remains a pleasure to drive while making significant fuel savings.

For those preferring a traditional internal combustion engine experience, the vehicle is also available with a 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. This variant delivers extraordinary power, coupled with excellent fuel economy, thanks to its efficient eight-speed automatic transmission and selectable driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport.

Interior Comfort

Luxury meets practicality in the Taurus’s well designed interior. Passengers will enjoy premium materials such as leather and suede, dual-zone climate control, and an expansive panoramic sunroof, all complemented by ambient lighting to suit any mood. The sizeable 520-litre boot and well-thought-out cabin space further enhance the comfort and convenience for both drivers and passengers.

Safety and Technology Innovations

Ford’s commitment to safety is prominently displayed in the Taurus Hybrid. Available safety features include an array of standard airbags and advanced driver-assist options like Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Forward Collision Mitigation, and Lane Keeping Assistance. Additional conveniences such as Adaptive Cruise Control and a 360-degree camera provide peace of mind during every journey.

Harnessing the power of modern technology, the Taurus’s cockpit is dominated by a 13.2-inch touchscreen, which along with an 8-inch instrument panel, integrates seamlessly with Ford’s SYNC4 system. This offers both driver and passenger easy access to navigation, entertainment, and communication features, all while supporting wireless charging for smart devices.
