Bentley unveils Continental GT Speed in Dubai

Bentley has launched the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed in Dubai.  It’s the prestigious marque’s most powerful model ever, with a hybrid powertrain and a blend of luxury and performance.

The launch event, organised by Bentley Emirates, a division of Al Habtoor Motors and exclusive representative of Bentley Motors in the UAE, drew Bentley aficionados and automotive enthusiasts to witness the debut of the brand’s most powerful road-going model ever.

This next generation grand tourer is characterised by the Continental GT Speed’s innovative hybrid powertrain. At the centre of this groundbreaking vehicle lies a 4.0-litre V8 engine, harmoniously paired with a 187-horsepower electric motor. This combination pushes the limits of performance, delivering a staggering 771 horsepower alongside 1000 Nm of torque. Such power facilitates a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, achieving thrilling speeds of up to 335 km/h. Remarkably, this model also champions eco-conscious design with a significant electric-only range of up to 81 km and CO2 emissions as low as 29 g/km, a testament to Bentley’s commitment to blending sheer power with environmental responsibility.

Bentley has equipped the Continental GT Speed with advanced Performance Active Chassis technology, which includes Active All-Wheel Drive, all-wheel steering, and an electronic limited-slip differential. These features, combined with a perfectly balanced 50:50 weight distribution, ensure superior handling and control, delivering an exhilarating yet smooth grand touring experience. This perfect symphony of engineering introduces unparalleled versatility to the Continental GT lineup, offering a thrilling drive while retaining Bentley’s trademark luxury ride quality.

Stepping inside, the Bentley Continental GT Speed elevates automotive luxury to new heights. Its interior showcases an array of sophisticated, wellness-oriented features, such as new seat technology and air ionization systems, ensuring optimal comfort. Bentley’s renowned craftsmanship is visible in every detail, from the innovative three-dimensional leather textures to sleek Dark Chrome accents. Customisation is at the heart of Bentley’s philosophy, allowing owners to personalised interior, from modern quilting to a high-end Naim audio system, creating a unique ambience of elegance and sophistication.

Externally, Bentley’s designers have imbued the Continental GT Speed with a more assertive visage. Making a nod to the past with a contemporary twist, the car features single headlamps for the first time since the 1950s. Alongside its robust stance and elongated bonnet, the streamlined bodywork speaks of both elegance and muscular power, a true reflection of Bentley’s design ethos.

Each Continental GT Speed, whether coupe or convertible, is painstakingly handcrafted at Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe, England. This ensures every vehicle embodies the highest standards of British automotive heritage and luxury. With global production commencing, the new Continental GT Speed aims to revolutionise the grand touring market, delivering an unmatched driving experience for discerning clients in the UAE and across the world.

As deliveries begin in the UAE, Bentley Emirates’ showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are ready to welcome clients, offering the opportunity to experience first-hand the unparalleled luxury, performance, and aesthetics of the Continental GT Speed. For residents of the UAE interested in experiencing the cutting edge of automotive innovation, the arrival of the Bentley Continental GT Speed offers an intriguing glimpse into the future of high-performance and luxury grand touring vehicles.
