For the first time, electric cars took first and second place in the Goodwood Festival of Speed shoot-out.
Romain Dumas won the 2026 Goodwood shoot-out on 13 July in Ford’s Super Mustang Mach-E. His time was 41.98 seconds. It was his third win in a row at Goodwood and his fifth in total. Dan Ticktum finished second in Formula E’s new Gen4 car, 0.48 seconds behind. The fastest combustion car was Alex Summers’ 1974 Shadow-Chevrolet DN4 Can-Am racer, on 46.31 seconds. Three weeks earlier, Dumas won Pikes Peak in the same Ford.
