Formula E’s Gen4 era starts in Jeddah

Formula E’s fastest car yet will start its first season in Jeddah.

Formula E’s Gen4 car makes up to 600 kW in Attack Mode and 450 kW in race trim. It reaches 100 km/h in 1.8 seconds and tops 335 km/h. It is also the first single-seater in the series with permanent all-wheel drive. The Gen4 era opens with a double-header at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on 18 and 19 December. The calendar has 21 races in 13 cities, the most in the series’ history. Formula E has said Mexico City would host the opener if Jeddah has to be postponed.
