Lucid has launched a National Day campaign for its Gravity electric SUV in Saudi Arabia, offering up to SAR 45,000 in cash benefit until 30 September. The Gravity has been on sale in the Kingdom since early 2025, with the Touring priced at SAR 416,645 and the Grand Touring at SAR 487,715.
How much does the Gravity cost in Saudi Arabia?
Buyers can choose between two versions. The Touring starts at SAR 416,645, while the Grand Touring costs SAR 487,715. So a gap of SAR 71,070 separates them.
Lucid says these prices include VAT, transportation and documentation fees. However, registration, insurance and optional features can raise the final amount. A seven-seat layout currently costs SAR 12,535 on Lucid’s Saudi configurator.
What does the National Day campaign offer?
Lucid launched its National Day campaign on 1 September. Under the offer, buyers can access up to SAR 45,000 in cash benefit, plus zero per cent financing and a home charger. The campaign runs through 30 September.
The offer comes well after the Gravity’s Saudi launch. Lucid opened orders for the Grand Touring in January 2025. The Touring followed in March 2025, and Saudi Arabia was the first market worldwide to take orders for it. Saudi deliveries then began with the Grand Touring in October 2025.
How far can the Gravity go?
Lucid quotes more than 500km of projected range for the Touring and more than 700km for the Grand Touring. Notably, the higher figure applies to a five-seat Grand Touring on 20 or 21-inch wheels.
Furthermore, Lucid lists the 700km figure as a projected estimate pending final WLTP results. Real-world range in Saudi Arabia will depend on speed, temperature, air-conditioning use, passenger load and wheel size. Therefore, buyers picking seven seats or larger wheels should expect less.
How quickly does it charge?
Lucid estimates that the Grand Touring can add up to 320km of range in 15 minutes on a 350kW DC fast charger when fitted with 20 or 21-inch wheels. That figure is a manufacturer estimate rather than an independent result.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s charging network keeps expanding. EVIQ currently lists 125 chargers across 50 locations in seven cities, with plans for more than 5,000 fast chargers by 2030. Even so, home charging will stay the easiest option for many buyers.
What powers each version?
Both versions come with all-wheel drive and five seats as standard, and both offer an optional seven-seat layout. The Touring produces 560hp, while the Grand Touring steps up to 828hp. So performance is the main mechanical divide between them.
Is there room for a family?
The Gravity measures 5,035mm long with a 3,035mm wheelbase, and it can seat up to seven adults. Additionally, the second and third rows fold flat for more luggage room. Lucid quotes up to 3,415 litres of cargo space in five-seat form, with projected towing of 2,500kg using the required package.
Available cabin features include four-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, front-seat massage and upgraded audio. Independent reviews have also found the third row usable for adults, which gives the Gravity an edge over rivals with child-only rear seats.
What is it like to drive?
The Gravity is a large SUV, yet road tests suggest it feels smaller and more agile than its size implies. Steering, ride comfort and composure have all drawn positive feedback.
Still, there are trade-offs.
The 22 or 23-inch wheels can reduce ride comfort and efficiency.
Many everyday functions run through touchscreen menus.
Early reviews also reported software glitches, although Lucid has kept releasing updates. Consequently, the 20 or 21-inch wheels suit buyers who value comfort and range.
What warranty comes with it?
Saudi Gravity models come with a four-year or 80,000km basic vehicle warranty. In addition, the powertrain and high-voltage battery each carry eight years or 160,000km of cover, with battery protection against capacity falling below 70 per cent. Corrosion-perforation coverage runs for 10 years with unlimited kilometres.
Resale, meanwhile, is harder to predict. There is not yet enough Saudi Gravity data for a reliable depreciation estimate. As used examples appear, battery health, remaining warranty and service history will matter more.
How does the price compare?
The Gravity starts well below some established luxury electric SUVs. For example, Mercedes-Benz currently lists the EQS 450 4MATIC SUV at SAR 552,000. By contrast, the Gravity Touring costs SAR 416,645 and the Grand Touring SAR 487,715.
These models differ in size, equipment and positioning. Even so, the comparison shows the Gravity is a competitive choice in this part of the market. Beyond price, charging access, dealer support, cabin space, warranty and resale all matter at this level.
What does Lucid’s Saudi factory mean?
Lucid’s AMP-2 facility in King Abdullah Economic City began assembling Lucid Air vehicles from semi-knocked-down kits in 2023. Currently, the company is preparing for full EV production in the Kingdom, installing stamping, body, paint and final-assembly equipment ahead of production trials.
However, that does not mean Gravity models sold locally are already fully built in Saudi Arabia. Lucid has not announced full Saudi production of the Gravity. So the factory strengthens the brand’s local presence, though buyers should not assume cheaper parts or faster servicing will follow automatically.
Which Gravity should you choose?
For most Saudi buyers, the Touring makes the stronger case. At SAR 416,645, it offers more than 500km of projected range, all-wheel drive and optional seven-seat availability while saving SAR 71,070. It suits city driving, shorter highway trips and homes with reliable charging.
The Grand Touring, by comparison, appeals to drivers who regularly travel between Saudi cities and want the longest range and the 828hp performance. Ultimately, both cars are expensive, and resale remains an unknown. Home charging, service support and intended use should weigh more heavily than Lucid’s manufacturing connection.
