What Is the B10 and How Does It Work?
Leapmotor unveiled the B10 on 16 July 2026 at a press event in Bouskoura. The compact SUV is the first model from the brand’s new B series to arrive in Morocco.
The B10 uses a range-extended electric vehicle setup, known as a REEV. The wheels are driven solely by an electric motor. A 1.5-litre petrol engine acts as a generator, recharging the battery when the charge drops. As a result, the car delivers the immediate, smooth power of an electric vehicle without depending on public charging infrastructure alone.
What Are the Range and Battery Figures?
The B10 carries an 18.8kWh battery. Leapmotor declares up to 86 kilometres of pure electric driving from that pack. For drivers who commute daily, that range covers most urban journeys without touching the petrol engine.
The combined range, with the generator running, is declared at 900 kilometres. Consequently, longer journeys become far less dependent on charging stops. For families covering significant distances, the system removes much of the planning that pure electric vehicles require.
What Does the Interior and Safety Package Include?
The cabin centres on a 14.6-inch high-definition display with 2.5K resolution. That screen handles the majority of the vehicle’s controls and connected functions. The approach follows the screen-led interior design now common across Chinese brands sold in European and North African markets.
On safety, Leapmotor has equipped the B10 with seven airbags and 17 advanced driver assistance functions. The brand has targeted a five-star Euro NCAP rating, though that result remains to be confirmed through official testing. In addition, the volume of assistance systems positions the car competitively against established compact SUVs in this price bracket.
How Is the B10 Priced and What Versions Are Available?
The Moroccan launch version is the Design trim. Buyers can choose from five exterior colours and two interior themes. The launch colour, Starry Night Blue, takes its name from Van Gogh’s painting “The Starry Night.”
Pricing starts at 269,000 dirhams. Medias24 describes this as a competitive position for a compact SUV with this level of equipment and electrified capability.
