Ford Mustang Mach-E arrives in Saudi showrooms

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors has brought the all-electric Mustang Mach-E to Saudi Arabia, giving buyers in the kingdom their first chance to experience Ford’s battery-powered SUV in person.

What Is the Mustang Mach-E?

Ford introduced the Mach-E globally in 2019. The company presented it as an expansion of the Mustang family, carrying the nameplate into electric territory. It is a five-seat SUV with styling that echoes the Mustang’s heritage.

The GT version produces 487 horsepower and 950Nm of torque, according to Ford’s local dealer website. Sabq, a Saudi news outlet, reports the same GT variant at 480 horsepower and 950Nm of torque. Both sources agree on a claimed driving range of 419 kilometres.

How Does It Perform on the Road?

The GT version accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds. Ford has given the Mach-E three drive settings: Whisper, Active, and Untame. Consequently, drivers can adjust the car’s character depending on conditions and preference.

However, strong acceleration figures tell only part of the story. The 419km claimed range is a practical number for daily use. For buyers considering the switch to electric, that figure addresses one of the most common concerns.

What Technology Does the Mach-E Include?

Inside, the Mach-E has a 15.5-inch touchscreen. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, a Bang and Olufsen sound system comes fitted as standard.

Ford has also included a suite of driver-assistance technology. Meanwhile, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors says the car is available for test drives and quotations at its showrooms. That access matters in a market where many buyers want to experience electric motoring before committing to a purchase.

How Is Ford Approaching the Saudi Market?

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors is Ford’s authorised dealer across the western and southern regions of Saudi Arabia. The company has brought the Mach-E into its showrooms as part of Ford’s wider push into the Gulf’s growing electric-vehicle sector. Therefore, the launch reflects a deliberate expansion of Ford’s electric lineup in the region.

Industry reports from last year suggested Ford planned an initial Saudi launch with a modest batch of vehicles. That approach fits the pattern many carmakers follow across the Gulf. As a result, the rollout is measured rather than immediate, allowing Ford to read demand before scaling up supply.

Why Does This Launch Matter for Saudi EV Buyers?

Saudi Arabia’s electric-car market is growing. Several global carmakers have entered or expanded in recent years. However, choice at the performance end of the market has remained limited. The Mach-E adds a credible option for buyers who want an electric vehicle with genuine driving appeal.

For example, the combination of 487 horsepower and a 419km range puts the Mach-E in a competitive position. The availability of test drives also helps. Consequently, buyers who are uncertain about charging habits or long-distance use can make an informed decision before signing a contract. Ford’s step-by-step approach gives the Saudi market time to absorb each new arrival at its own pace.
