Auto Hall has secured exclusive distribution rights for Chinese EV brand iCAUR, adding a new electric and extended-range SUV line to its Moroccan portfolio through its luxury arm.
What Is iCAUR and Where Does It Come From?
iCAUR is part of Chery Group, one of China’s largest vehicle manufacturers. The brand draws on Chery’s industrial capacity, research base, and technology platform.
iCAUR was also developed in partnership with SmartMi Tech, a company linked to the Xiaomi ecosystem. As a result, the brand has a strong digital identity. Its vehicles combine rugged SUV styling with connected, software-led interiors.
Which Models Will Arrive in Morocco?
The first model expected in Morocco is the V23, a compact electric SUV. It comes in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The V23 gives a range of up to 500 kilometres on a full charge.
Inside, the V23 has a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen and a 540-degree camera system. It also includes level 2 driver assistance. In addition, the Moroccan line-up will include the 03 and the 03T. Both models come in fully electric and extended-range versions. The extended-range powertrain uses a small petrol generator to top up the battery during longer journeys. The larger V27, which has a more off-road character, is expected to complete the range.
How Has iCAUR Built Its International Profile?
iCAUR introduced the V27 in Dubai in January 2026. That event marked the brand’s entry into the Middle East market. The V27 attracted attention for its boxy proportions and new-energy powertrain.
iCAUR then appeared at the Beijing Auto Show, where it showed the ROBOX concept alongside a right-hand-drive version of the V27. Consequently, the brand has moved quickly across global markets. However, Moroccan buyers will need to wait for confirmed specifications, prices, and launch dates. Auto Hall has yet to announce showroom locations for the iCAUR range.
How Is Auto Hall Positioned to Launch a Premium EV Brand?
Auto Hall distributes iCAUR through its Auto Hall Luxury Motors division. This gives iCAUR a dedicated sales structure within the group’s existing network. The group reported a strong first quarter of 2026. Turnover rose 30.2 per cent year on year to 1.621 billion dirhams. Unit sales grew 27.9 per cent to 6,432 vehicles over the same period.
Therefore, the group enters this partnership from a position of commercial momentum. Electric vehicle interest in Morocco has grown steadily. Auto Hall has shaped its portfolio around electrified and higher-value products in response. iCAUR fits that direction. The brand gives the group a Chinese EV option at the premium end of the market, where design and digital content carry more weight with buyers.
What Does This Mean for Moroccan EV Buyers?
For buyers interested in electric SUVs, iCAUR adds a new option with a distinct design language and a range of powertrain choices. The extended-range format, in particular, addresses concerns about charging infrastructure. A petrol generator extends the driving range without requiring a full charge. This makes it a practical choice for buyers who travel beyond urban centres.
However, the full picture is still incomplete. Auto Hall has yet to publish local pricing or confirm which models will arrive first. For example, the V23 has been identified as an early candidate, but no launch date is confirmed. Moroccan consumers will need to monitor further announcements from Auto Hall before making purchase decisions. Meanwhile, iCAUR’s global expansion continues at pace, and its Moroccan debut will form part of a broader push across international markets.
