We speak exclusively to Hasan Nergiz, MD of Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company, the distributor of leading ‘new energy vehicle’ brand BYD in the UAE. We met up with Hasan at the official opening of BYD’s new showroom on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.

Since entering the UAE last year, BYD has become an important presence. Whether it’s a BYD SEAL heading to valet parking at one of our hotels, or a BYD ATTO 3 carrying a family for a day out, you see more and more of their cars on the roads.
The company is planning to open more showrooms across the UAE by the end of the year, bringing the brand closer to customers.
There was also an exciting ‘sneak peak’ at the YangWang U8, which is due to be available in the UAE sometime next year.
