Renowned French superstar DJ David Guetta recently unveiled a new campaign called “Speed of Light,” set against the stunning backdrop of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park near Dubai. This unique collaboration, in partnership with Porsche Middle East and Africa, marks an exciting phase in Guetta’s career as he transitions from club stages to grand desert landscapes.
The cinematic launch film features Guetta’s electrifying Future Rave Remix of his hit track “Titanium,” synchronised with the high-performance capabilities of Porsche’s latest models, the Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT. Using lasers, deep bass, and the powerful essence of the new cars, the film transforms one of the largest solar parks in the world into an immersive visual rave experience.
Home to over two million solar panels and the tallest solar tower globally, the solar park served as the perfect canvas for this electrifying spectacle. Guetta’s dynamic lightshow not only complements the cutting-edge performance of Porsche’s electric vehicles but also underscores the brand’s commitment to sustainability in its push towards full electrification.
“Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance, and pushing the limits, just like my music,” Guetta shared during the promotional push for the campaign. “Being part of this project has truly inspired me.” This interaction highlights the synergy between the worlds of music and high-performance electric vehicles, as both continue to evolve and captivate audiences.
The campaign’s focal point is the dual presentation of two Porsche models. The Macan Turbo boasts 639 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a mere 3.3 seconds. On the other hand, the Taycan Turbo GT, equipped with the Weissach Package, is currently celebrated as the most powerful production Porsche ever, having set record times on racetracks across four continents. “Speed of Light” features these vehicles racing under a dazzling array of lasers within the sunlit environment of the solar park, reinforcing Porsche’s reputation in the electric vehicle segment.

The campaign will also include three behind-the-scenes episodes that delve into the making of this ambitious project. Audiences can expect insights into the advanced technology employed during filming, Guetta’s creative process, and the solar park’s sustainability efforts.
Dr. Manfred Bräunl, CEO of Porsche Middle East and Africa, remarked on the significance of choosing Dubai’s solar park as the setting for this campaign: “It aligns with our clear path towards sustainability.” The collaboration enjoys support from the UAE’s Ministry of Economy and Tourism as well as the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, underscoring both the region’s and Porsche’s aspirations for innovation and clean energy.
As “Speed of Light” lights up the intersection of music, design, and automotive excellence, it echoes the electric future that Porsche envisions, with David Guetta firmly at the helm, steering into uncharted, electrifying territories.
