Le Hummer EV de GMC mis à jour en 2026

GMC’s 2026 Hummer EV update introduces King Crab mode, enhanced Super Cruise, and a limited-edition Carbon Fibre model, boasting a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and bidirectional charging, reviving interest in its luxury electric supertruck lineup.

The GMC Hummer EV is making a return to the spotlight with a mid-cycle update set for 2026, which promises significant enhancements to both performance and functionality. Initially launched with much fanfare a few years ago, the electric supertruck is poised to attract attention once more, notably with the introduction of the King Crab mode. This innovative feature builds upon the existing four-wheel steering capability, allowing the rear wheels to turn at a sharper angle than the front wheels. Such a design enables the Hummer EV to navigate obstacles with unparalleled agility, effectively allowing it to make extremely tight turns, even in challenging conditions like snow or sand.

In addition to the King Crab mode, GMC is also unveiling a limited-edition Carbon Fibre version of the Hummer EV, expected to turn heads with its unique aesthetics. This edition features an exclusive Magnus Gray Matte exterior and striking Velocity Ember interior accents, alongside distinctive 22-inch carbon fibre black wheels, which also include the spare. This limited run is designed for those eager to own a piece of extraordinary engineering, combining luxury with performance.

The 2026 model further impresses with its acceleration capabilities; GMC claims it can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds. This leap in performance is credited to refinements in software, propulsion calibration, and hardware development, although specifics on these advancements remain somewhat vague. The previous models, particularly the tri-motor setup, had already garnered attention for their remarkable 1,000 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque, achieving similar 0–60 mph times in approximately 3 seconds. Hence, the new edition is positioned to be the quickest yet, underscoring GMC’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle performance.

The updates are not limited only to speed and tackling efficiency; the 2026 Hummer EV will also include revised damper tuning, enhancing overall ride comfort while retaining its robust capabilities. Another notable advancement is the bidirectional charging function, enabling the vehicle to recharge compatible electric devices or other EVs. This feature reflects a growing trend within the industry toward holistic energy solutions, showcasing the Hummer EV’s role not just as a vehicle, but as a versatile electrical resource.

Furthermore, Super Cruise has been enhanced, featuring automatic lane changes that can sync with the vehicle’s navigation system. This improvement positions the Hummer for a more autonomous driving experience, reminiscent of luxury vehicles offering high levels of driver assistance technology.

The aesthetic appeal of the Hummer EV is set to expand as well, with the introduction of new exterior paint options like Coastal Dune and Auburn Matte, alongside fresh interior themes, Granite Drift and Stealth Eclipse. Such attention to detail in design reinforces GMC’s positioning of the Hummer EV as a luxury electric option that doesn’t compromise on style or substance.

With all these enhancements, the 2026 GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV are scheduled to go on sale later this year. While pricing and exact range figures are to be confirmed as the launch date approaches, the anticipation surrounding the upcoming model underscores a significant revival of interest in the Hummer brand within the electric vehicle market.
