Subaru has unveiled its second all-electric SUV, the 2026 Trailseeker, at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. Positioned as a larger, more rugged alternative to the Solterra, the Trailseeker is designed to appeal to families and adventure enthusiasts seeking a versatile electric vehicle.
Powertrain and Performance
The Trailseeker is equipped with a dual-motor setup delivering 375 horsepower, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.4 seconds. Its 74.7 kWh battery offers an estimated range of over 260 miles (approximately 418 km) on a single charge. The vehicle supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW and features the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, providing access to a wide network of charging stations.

Externally, the Trailseeker showcases Subaru’s new EV design language, featuring a six-star illuminated badge, redesigned LED lighting, and a distinctive rear with 3D badging. Market Availability
Subaru plans to launch the Trailseeker in the U.S. market in 2026. While there is no official confirmation regarding its availability in the GCC region, the Trailseeker’s blend of performance, utility, and eco-friendliness positions it as a potential fit for markets like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where there is a growing interest in electric vehicles that can handle diverse terrains.
